St. Patricks Day Hats

Everybody’s Irish on St. Patrick's Day, especially in America where we celebrate so many ethnic holidays. I love the parades and the parties myself, though not one drop of Irish blood courses through my veins in spite of my Scots/Irish surname.  I married it. I wasn’t born with it, but that’s another story for another day.

St Patrick's Day is a day for green beer, fun parades and silly hats as well as a day honoring the patron saint of Ireland. It is celebrated in surprising ways all across the globe and is the occasion for the wearing of some pretty amazing hats.

Happy St. Patrick's Day, folks.  It’s a great day for the Irish, and for the rest of us as well, not to mention a great day for green hats.

The green glasses are a nice touch, dontchathink?

Hats or no hats, this is how they celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Dublin. Everybody may be Irish on St. Paddy’s Day, but nobody is as Irish as the Irish. It’s their day, after all. Have a look and join right in.
