who with half hazard
abandon
freely sketches out
the gesture
of those
who pose
for me and
leave hazy
and blurred
the images
of others
who stayed
in motion
I don’t paint
what I see
so much
as leave
brushstroke
fingerprints
behind
like a poet
leaves
evidence
at the scene
of his rhyme
