we are all
still sending

and signals
and blowing smoke
out our...
well, you know what
I mean
the point I’m making
is that we are all
like old black and white
movie stars
doing our best
to strike a pose
in this post cigarette
era
trying to look cool
without a Kool Menthol
hanging from our
lips
until we are
but butts
put out in the great
ashtray
in the ground
