J. T. Whitehead
Over 125 poems by J.T. Whitehead have been accepted for print in over 60 publications and half a dozen short stories as well, including one Pushcart Prize nominee (“The Year of the Dog,” in/by Home Planet News). He is also Editor in Chief of “So It Goes: The Literary Journal of the Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library.” Issue No. 1 is available at http://vonnegutlibrary.org
J.T. holds an AB from Wabash College in English & Philosophy, an MA in Philosophy from Purdue, and a JD from Indiana. He has worked as a pub cook, delivery man, writing tutor, book shop clerk, liquor store clerk, a video store manager*, and a labor lawyer - on the workers’ side and a criminal lawyer. He lives with his wife Julia – the founder, first President, and current Executive Director of the Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library in Indianapolis – and their two sons, Daniel and Joseph. Also two cats, not named after Old Testament protagonists.
