Blowing Bubbles for a Healthier, Happier You

Blowing bubbles is actually good for your health.  Bubbles are calming and soothing.  They help you do absolutely nothing, and according to Psychologists, doing nothing every once in a while is a very good thing.

Oprah did it on the cover of her magazine.  Martha loves it and writes about it; in fact she suggests a bubble blowing themed party for adults (a wonderful idea). I love, love, love blowing bubbles myself, with or without the kids.  And I’m willing to bet you do it too.

Why?  Because bubbles are fun.  They’re awesome. They’re colorful.  No matter what shape you blow them through, they always come out round.

The art and sport of bubble blowing has been around since the invention of soaps.  And ever since then, children of all ages and walks of life have been blowing them.

Bubble blowing is so delightful that this wonderful activity has been the muse of many a painting, photograph, and fashion magazine layout.

In recent years, bubble blowing has taken the place of rice being thrown at weddings for environmental purposes.

But there are do’s and don’ts to wedding bubbles and solutions.  So for the perfect bubbles, you’ll want to check out “Choosing Wedding Bubbles for your Nuptials” (see references below this article).

And so, go ahead, make some, buy some, and by all means enjoy some.  Have fun.  Smile a lot.  Giggle and laugh.  Watch them.  Pop them or try to catch them whole.
