January and a Contest

As we enter the final days of January and the annual EOL Poetry Contest for 2013, we feature the poetry of Erren Geraud Kelly.  Mary Oliver has said, to liberally paraphrase, that she is a journalist who reports on what she sees.  Poets share with their audience a unique view, as if drawing back the curtain on an otherwise inaccessible window on the landscape of the physical existence:  the unique window of the poet's view of life.
